Based on DLP technology, the Mitsubishi XD280U projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi.
