The projector XS1 by InFocus operates as a Laser-BrilliantColor-DLP device with 2200 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 1800:1. According to InFocus, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 133 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 272 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of InFocus's current product range.
