According to InFocus, the X1 model provides 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 alongside a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 275 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 183 cm. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

In all honesty, even though this device is now a few days old, it still manages to convince me. The picture (even after 1500 hours) is clear and crisp and the various connection options are excellent. And don‘t forget that this device can even do 16:9. For me, the compatibility with the so-called 3D VGA Progressive Box is important, as I like to watch 3D.
