Overheating problems
When the projector is running, it delivers a good picture. But it has considerable problems with overheating.
Owned the projector since 2002 and only used it for about 1 year (120 hours), then the problems occurred for the first time, color disturbances, horizontal stripes and finally self-shutdown.
Infocus then repaired / serviced the projector once.
After that, however, the same problem occurred again after about the same period of time.
Overall not recommended, especially in warm countries. The attempt to buy new dust filters from an authorized dealer in Honduras failed miserably. 20 points are actually still too much. The US$ 2,300 purchase price at the time was a waste. Now I‘ve been using an Epson Powerlite S4 for 2 years without any problems.
If there are any repair tips, they are very welcome. sonstlu@yahoo.de
