The projector LP820 by InFocus utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to InFocus, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
