The projector IN124STa by InFocus utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3500 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 120 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 500 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 333 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
