Known as the LP540, this Laser-LCD projector by InFocus features basic specs of 1700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 1700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 359 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 239 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

I‘m thrilled with the device! It has two built-in speakers and great picture quality (bright, high-contrast). It‘s not very loud in operation and it does have an eco mode! It‘s just not called that. In the settings you can select whether it is used in a dark or bright room - the picture brightness adjusts accordingly! It also has a digital input! The only thing that bothered me: You need a special connection cable for the digital input, but I was able to buy one for €12.50 at an auction. I bought the device second-hand at auction - without all the accessories. I would buy the device again at any time.

All will be well
So it has arrived. I‘m probably satisfied. Unfortunately there is no lamp-saving eco mode, brightness and contrast are good. I only use it for movies. Comes really close to a DLP projector! The side slits should not be at eye level, as a little light escapes there too...
