Designed for the Short Distance sector, the IN114ST model from InFocus features 2700 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. According to InFocus, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 120 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by InFocus.
