This projector from InFocus utilizes Laser-DLP technology, achieving 2400 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. According to InFocus, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 427 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 285 cm. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

This is my first projector and I have to say that for this price you get a really solid projector that is perfectly adequate for home theater. I was really pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is compared to some of the other projectors I‘ve seen/heard. The brightness is also impressive, although you can hear the fan very clearly at full brightness. The rainbow effect is also negligible. If you don‘t know it‘s there, you won‘t see it. I think InFocus has done a great job here and created a really good product for beginners.
My conclusion: Recommended purchase for all home theater operators who don‘t have a big wallet!
