Designed for the Standard-Portabel sector, the X9 model from InFocus features 1800 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution and a contrast ratio of 2500:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3500 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 287 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of InFocus's current product range.

Very good for the price
I bought the X9 a month ago and have been using it as a home cinema projector ever since.
It‘s not too big and heavy, which makes ceiling mounting easier. It delivers a really good picture, very bright even in Eco mode. The colors are stronger and more beautiful than the HD700X I had before. The fan noise is discreet and should only bother really sensitive people. The keystone correction works well and is relatively loss-free in a small area.
-The zoom range is really very small, you have to be very careful where you place the device.
-The remote control is very fuzzy.
-With large screen diagonals and very bright and high-contrast settings, the RBE is sometimes clearly visible, e.g. with the PC preset. However, if the picture diagonal is not quite so huge (2m in my case), it is no longer noticeable. With a 4:3 signal, you either have everything stretched to the width or black bars on the right and left. A pity, but for the price, the device is still recommended. I like the brightness and picture quality a little better than the HD700x.

good device
Have been using the projector for 1 month. Very good picture, no color edges visible. Sufficient connections available. The remote control menu takes some getting used to and the keystone correction doesn‘t work 100% - but it‘s a great device.
