Categorized in the Homecinema segment, the SP8600HD3D projector from InFocus projects with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution, alongside 2700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 40000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2500 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 528 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 352 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of InFocus's current product range.
