The 3M DMS 700 is a DLP projector offering 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to 3M, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 124 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 1500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 225 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range.
