Mit dem RD-P7 bietet REDEER einen Laser-LCD-Projektor an, der 1100 ANSI-Lumen, einen Kontrast von 20000:1 sowie eine Auflösung von HDTV 1920 x 1080 aufweist. REDEER gibt für die LED dieses Beamers eine Laufzeit von 30000 Stunden an – dies entspricht einer Nutzungsdauer von 20.5 Jahren bei 4 Stunden täglich. Um auch bei asymmetrischer Aufstellung ein rechtwinkliges Bild zu gewährleisten, bringt der Projektor eine digitale Trapezkorrektur für die horizontale und vertikale Achse mit. Ein Blick auf die Lichtleistung zeigt: Die 1100 ANSI-Lumen reichen aus, um in abgedunkelten Räumen eine Bildbreite von bis zu 337 cm auszuleuchten. Bei vorhandenem Raumlicht empfehlen wir, eine maximale Breite von 225 cm nicht zu überschreiten. Was die Signalverarbeitung betrifft, ist das Modell kompatibel mit eingehenden 1080P-Inhalten und 4K. Als weiteres Feature ermöglicht ein integrierter Mediaplayer das direkte Abspielen von Dateien ohne externen Zuspieler. Zur drahtlosen Audioausgabe unterstützt der Projektor zudem Bluetooth, um externe Soundbars schnell einzubinden. Dank der Unterstützung von Miracast und Airplay lassen sich Bildschirminhalte zudem kabellos vom Smartphone, Tablet oder PC auf die Leinwand werfen.

Out of the box the product has a base firmware. They offer a automated OTA update. When this is updated to the version V1.00.1A.20250220 the autofocus and auto keystone will cease to work. You can adjust this with the remove. Attempting another update it finds the new package V1.00.1A.20250221 (notice the date code?) they released an update then the next day the released another update. Oops... no quality issue here! :P) After the attempted update it goes through the process of the update but the update never changes the version number. The manual lists an Offline update but with no location to access the website for the product, the projector will still not auto-focus. Very disappointed. STAY AWAY!!!
