Model Overview Based on LCD technology, the 3M Piccolo X10 projects images in a Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years.
Looking at practical performance, up to 302 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 201 cm.
This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range.
