Based on LCD technology, the 3M Lumina X70 device delivers 3500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 750:1 as a projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range.
