As a projector, the 3M X62 combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 2500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 500:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by 3M.
