The technical data of the 3M DMS 800 includes 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1300:1 as well as a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 1500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 225 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range.
