Based on LCD technology, the 3M Lumina X65 device delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 400:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
