Known as the MP 8730, this LED-LCD projector by 3M features basic specs of 550 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to 3M, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 550 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 204 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 136 cm. This model dates back to 2000 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
