The 3M MP 8750 is a LED-DLP projector that brings 1500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 300:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. The projector was released in 1999 and is officially no longer distributed by 3M.

A new lamp costs over 1000,-¤
And so I assume that the manufacturer (3M) does not attach any importance to the fact that a projector is repaired again.
When you get a new one for 1045,- Euro.
It is not acceptable that a spare part is more expensive than a new device.
