The hardware properties of the ProBeam BU53RG manufactured by LG include 5000 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast value of 3000000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 15000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 10.3 years at 4 hours a day. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since the projector supports Miracast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of LG's current product range.
