The technical data of the LG ProBeam BF50NST includes 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 as well as a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
