As a projector, the LG BD460 combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 3200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 5000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 575 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 383 cm. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
