As a projector for the High-End Homecinema sector, the LG Cinebeam HU810PW is equipped with 2700 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast of 2000000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Distance Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 528 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 352 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for optional Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by LG. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
