With the HW300G, LG offers a Laser-DLP projector that features 300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 176 cm can be illuminated with 300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 117 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of LG's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.

The display properties compared to the predecessor LG HX300G have improved significantly, although the relative resolution on paper compared to Full HD is not so noticeable. Sharpness and color impression are also excellent. Very pleasant is the quiet running noise in Eco mode compared to the predecessor, which audibly beeped more. The only negative thing I have noticed so far is the connections. The mains and connection plugs are too loose for me. However, if you compare the price, image quality and durability of the LED lamp with other projectors, the 629 euros for the LG is currently a bargain. In my opinion, the device is a successful all-round device.
