A projector from LG is the PF1000UA, whose 3D-DLP model delivers 1000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 150000:1. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 58 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
