The projector PA72G by LG utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. LG lists a runtime of 30000 hours for the LED in this projector, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Looking at practical performance, up to 269 cm can be illuminated with 700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 179 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
