The projector H8030 by Vivitek utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 50000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek.
