The DU7098Z model is a 3D-DLP projector from Vivitek, intended for Stationary applications, offering 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 7000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 567 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
