The DU6690Z - model from Vivitek combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 819 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 546 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
