The hardware properties of the DW83BAA manufactured by Vivitek include 5000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast value of 15000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2500 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek.
