Based on DLP technology, the SIM2 SIRIO device delivers 6000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 6000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 525 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
