Based on DLP technology, the SIM2 SUPERLUMIS projects images in a Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 30000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to SIM2, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
