Known as the PROC3 Host, this DLP projector by SIM2 features basic specs of 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 at a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
