As a projector for the High-End Homecinema sector, the SIM2 HT300 Plus is equipped with 800 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution and a contrast of 1800:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 6000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 8.2 years. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 287 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 191 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2.
