As a projector, the SIM2 Crystal 45 combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 50000:1. According to SIM2, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2.
