A projector from SIM2 is the NERO 3D 1, whose 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP model delivers 1600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600 and a contrast of 10000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 348 cm can be illuminated with 1600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 232 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
