The SIM2 MICO 140 is a DLP projector that brings 800 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 100000:1. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 287 cm can be illuminated with 800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 191 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of SIM2's current product range.
