The SIM2 Grand Cinema C3X E is a DLP projector offering 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6500:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
