The projector MICO 160 by SIM2 utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2.
