With the LC X985, Eiki offers a LCD projector that features 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Eiki, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 296 cm. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Eiki. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
