As a projector, the Eiki EK-101X combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 4200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. According to Eiki, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 564 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 376 cm. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
