The equipment of the Eiki EK-836U projector includes 16000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 16000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1285 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 857 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Eiki's current product range.
