The projector EK-100W by Eiki operates as a LED-LCD device with 3600 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. According to Eiki, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 610 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 407 cm. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
