The hardware properties of the EK-833U manufactured by Eiki include 13000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast value of 100000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1158 cm can be illuminated with 13000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 772 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Eiki's current product range.
