The equipment of the Eiki EK-55LU projector includes 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 47 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 753 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 502 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 27 decibels. Since entering the market in 2023, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
