Equipped with DLP technology, the Eiki EK-830U offers 9500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 990 cm can be illuminated with 9500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 660 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Eiki.
