With the DLA X990, JVC offers a 3D-DILA projector that features 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600000:1 and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 20 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
