The equipment of the JVC DLA HD990 projector includes 900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 70000:1 with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 900 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 305 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 203 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 19 decibels. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
