The DLA-VS4500 model from JVC combines DILA technology in the Stationary sector with 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 12000:1 and a native UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
